“D” Series Sets with 3/4” Pilot

With the use of auxiliary pilots, hole may be drilled up 2-1/2” in diameter in steel while maintaining optimum rigidity of low horsepower consumption, drill first pilot hole with a conventional 3/4” twist drill. If desired finish hole is over 1-1/2” but 2’ or less, insert 1-1/2” blade into holder and enlarge hole to 1-1/2”, insert finish size blade into holder, attach 1-1/2” auxiliary pilot and drill hole to size. If desired finish hole is over 2”, insert 2” blade, attach 1-1/2” auxiliary pilot and enlarge hole to 2”, insert finish size blade, attach 2” auxiliary pilot and drill hole to size. Note: when drilling certain non-ferrous metals it may be possible to drill up to 2-1/2” hole in one pass without the use of pilots.

1/2” Shank Set

One 3/4” pilot holder with 1/2” shank. One 3/4” high speed s&d twist drill, 1/2” shank one number 6 combined drill & countersink. ( all above tools 6” oal for quick, single setup.) one hex wrench, ten high speed steel size “d” blades; one each of 15/16”, 1”, 1-1/16”, 1-1/8”, 1-3/16”, 1-1/4”, 1-5/16”, 1-3/8”, 1-7/16” and 1-1/2”
